Donavan Eason joined Moseley Marcinak after working several years for one of the largest firms in the country, defending negligence actions brought against trucking companies, logistics companies, and their insurance carriers. He currently serves as the Chair of the Georgia Defense Lawyer Association’s Trucking Steering Committee.

Prior to entering private practice, Eason served as a judicial law clerk to Judge John Ellington of the Georgia Court of Appeals and the 25th Judicial Circuit of Virginia. He also served for several years as a policy advisor and legal counsel to the Georgia Senate Majority Leader and Office of the Lieutenant Governor, specializing in regulatory issues addressing healthcare and telecommunications.

Eason graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia and cum laude from Washington and Lee University School of Law.

Eason serves clients out of Savannah, Georgia.

Martin Cain assists clients in transportation related litigation matters. Prior to joining the firm, Cain worked as a law clerk for Judge “Cordell” Maddox in Anderson, SC. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2021) and University of South Carolina (B.A., Political Science and Criminal Justice, summa cum laude, 2018).

Cain serves clients out of the firm’s Greenville, South Carolina office.

Moseley Marcinak Law Group LLP, a nationally recognized transportation and logistics firm continues to grow with the addition of D. Lesesne Phillips and J. Alex Timmons to their Greenville, South Carolina office in recent months.

“Alex and Lesesne are great lawyers and will bring value to the work we do for our clients,” said partner Rob Moseley.

A partner with the firm, Timmons represents motor carriers, drivers and logistics providers in personal injury, property damage, and complex litigation. He regularly defends clients against tort and contractual claims, including personal injury. He also handles insurance coverage and contract disputes. Timmons has tried more than 25 cases to verdict across South Carolina.

Phillips works with clients on transportation related business matters, including contracts, commercial litigation, and regulatory issues. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Loren A. Smith, Judge on the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

Moseley Marcinak Attorney, Megan Early-Soppa to Present at Trucking Seminar

Greenville, SC. (September 12, 2019) – Moseley Marcinak Law Group LLP attorney, Megan Early-Soppa, will speak at the annual Arkansas Trucking Seminar in Rogers, Arkansas, on September 18, 2019. Early-Soppa will be a panelist for the session “Beyond the Basics: Best Practices for Effective Accident Investigation and Early Case Evaluation.” 

As a transportation and logistics attorney, Early-Soppa focuses her practice on the representation transportation carriers, freight brokers, and logistics companies. As an experienced litigator, she provides clients with regional and nationwide guidance on commercial litigation matters, including broker liability, broker tort, FMCSA and state regulatory compliance and permitting matters, as well as insurance coverage cases.  She is also a part of the firm’s Emergency Response Team.

Leadership Greenville is a 10-month leadership development program designed to help develop informed, committed and qualified leaders for Greenville County. The program has graduated over 2000 alumni since 1973, many of which have served in key positions, including the school board, city and county council seats, members of Congress, judges and business leaders.

Early-Soppa is a transportation and logistics attorney with MMLG. She focuses her practice on helping companies in the transportation industry grow and protect their business by minimizing risk and improving business operations.
